We have established three main polished concrete finishes for residential and commercial environments under the InfinityFloor system. Each one designed to give you the most durable, yet aesthetically pleasing polished floors.
Firstly we have InfinityFloor Cream, which are beautiful cloudy floors that are highly sought after by interior designers and architects alike for the contemporary feel this finish offers. InfinityFloor Cream comprises of only polishing steps to gently smooth out and polish the power floated concrete surface.
This finish requires a very well power trowelled surface and often more suited to newly laid concrete unless you have an existing concrete floor that meets the required standards. As an alternative, our MicroFloor microcement floors offer a similar look.
Secondly there's InfinityFloor Salt:Pepper; more industrial looking concrete flooring which through gentle floor grinding will expose the sand layer and finer small aggregates. Imagine grinding sea salt and peppercorns on to a surface, that is the expected size of the sand and aggregate particles.
This type of polished concrete floor still requires a very well laid concrete floor surface as only a small amount of surface material is removed by diamond grinding. This finish is more reminiscent of factory floors where the concrete polishers have removed the surface through fine abrasives.
Our most intensive polished concrete finish is InfinityFloor Stone, a very heavily aggregated finish which requires a great deal of floor grinding in order to remove both the cream and sand layers and get deep into the construction of the concrete slab.
InfinityFloor Stone is highly suitable for existing flooring and concrete floors that are less well laid (within reason). The polishing process for this heavily aggregated finish has many more stages of diamond refinement. A lot more scratch removal with professional tools to ensure the final surface is smooth and truly mechanically polished concrete.
Our polished concrete flooring stamford is part of a very well thought out system that has been developed through years of continual research and development and over thousands of square metres of concrete flooring projects. All of our concrete flooring is highly durable, easy to keep clean and maintain with just the most basic of equipment.
Our director Dave Carr has personally designed and created all of our polishing systems, diamond too designs, microcement products and protective stain resistant sealers.
When looking for polished concrete in Stamford look no further than experienced professionals at Carrcrete, we understand polished concrete floors inside out, right up from the required concrete specification through to the final application of stain resistant sealer. As an alternative to polished concrete flooring stamford to our InfinityFloor Cream finish, why not look into having a MicroFloor? The use of MicroFloor allows you to replicate the look of a cloudy, concrete floor with the control of colours, tones and textures.
For over five years we have manufactured our own range of microcement products under two systems; MicroFloor and MicroWall. We can apply microcement flooring to cement based screeds, concrete slabs and other rigid substrate. Micro cement is unique it is ability to bind to many surfaces, is easily colourable and offers a completely bespoke range of finishes.
Our microcement bathrooms are highly sought after, beautiful floors and walls for your wet room, ensuite or family bathroom project. All correctly prepared, applied and sealed ready to be used by your family.
