We were called into the Ricoh headquarters in Northampton to remove tile adhesive from 200 m2 of reception area and leave a surface suitable for laying tiles to. Previous contractors and their surface preparation methods had been stopped in their tracks due to the amount of dust they were creating. Plus their process was very slow. What Ricoh wanted was a fast and effective method of preparing the substrate whilst creating the least amount of dust possible.
This is where we excel, our machinery literally removed all of the tile adhesive in a few short hours, reducing downtime to a bear minimum. No airborne dust and all surface dust was routinely vacuumed away to prevent migration to the office areas.
You’ll notice there are a few sections where adhesive remains, these are low spots and the remaining adhesive is now sanded flat with the surrounding substrate, conveniently filling the low areas.
