This concrete floor in West Bridgford Nottingham was polished to our InfinityFloor Matt Salt:Pepper specification where we grind away 1mm of the surface material to expose small stones and larger sands.
Our Concrete Polishing Process
You would be forgiven for thinking this floor has a dyed feature rectangle, but this is actually a curing mark created by leaving insulated plasterboards on the bare concrete floor.
The concrete is a new pourable concrete by CEMEX where the installers dapple the surface to release air and help flow the product to a flat surface, it is this dappling motion that creates the lines within the surface.
Like all of our floors we sealed the floor with our triple lock system consisting of advanced densifiers, sealers and guard products to provide a strong, safe and resistant floor surface.
