We were recently called in to rework one of our competitors concrete floors as the client was dissatisfied with the finish and service they received. At the initial site survey we found our competitors finish to be poorly polished and full (read covered) in bug holes that had been left unfilled. Although the floor was left at a HTC Superfloor Platinum finish, it was very obvious we could offer a far superior finish in InfinityFloor Matt Stone.
Our finish task was to remove the supposed 3000 grit finish and impregnating sealer with our custom made diamond hybrid metal abrasives and re-polish through to a stage where we could re-densify and apply our PROgrout aeration hole filler. Once the PROgrout filler was fully hardened we polished back to a clean honed 400 grit surface before sealing with our two variants of sealer.
Our Concrete Polishing Process
As you can see from the before/after photos our CARRcrete InfinityFloor Matt Stone walks all over the previous HTC Superfloor Platinum finish. It’s all do to with preparation and craftsmanship, the more you understand your work and your tools, the better the outcome.
