Here is a concrete floor in Yorkshire, previously polished by another contractor with a Klindex but re-ground and polished by CARRcrete using our Jack counter rotating machines to upgrade the floor to an InfinityFloor Specification. The majority of the floor was located in a basement which explains the poor photograph and video quality.
The main floor [120m2] was located in the basement, another at the ground floor [23m2] the floors were ground down by up to 2mm using our 4 segment metal tools to remove low spots and smooth out power float marks, then honed with our advanced ceramic abrasives before moving onto the high gloss resin pads. Like all of our CARRcrete InfinityFloors, the concrete surface was thoroughly hardened with PROhard silicate densifier to internally seal the concrete and increase abrasion resistance. Once polished, the concrete floor was then sealed and burnished with the CARRcrete PROguard topical guard sealer.
Whilst technically not a difficult floor to work on as we have great experience carrying out remedial works to other contractors work; the site conditions where difficult to work around. Being in the basement, light was low, constant dust and debris fell from walls and ceilings which meant extended working hours due cleaning down and polished sections damaged by said debris.
